A day trip to Cornwall today! @coastalcabins is really near the Cornish border so it’s a great location for exploring both Devon and Cornwall.

Bude is only 25 mins drive and definitely worth a trip, but today we went a bit further to Port Issac. We love it there but hadn’t been for ages! It’s a picture perfect Cornish fishing village made famous by the tv show Doc Martin. Have you seen it?

Then we headed back to the cabins for a quick freshen up before tucking into the most amazing Mother’s Day feast at Pattard Kitchen. It’s family friendly fine dining within walking distance of your cabin

We were planning to head home today but we just don’t want to leave! So we’ve decided to stay tonight and head off early tomorrow. It’ll be a bit of a rush to get Paige to school, Cora to nursery and Howard to work all before 9am, but totally worth it for another sunset here
