We hope you had a truly magical festive break, wherever you spent it.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the Christmas and New Year period. We were absolutely thrilled to be fully booked for New Year’s Eve, and seeing families, friends and loved ones welcoming in the new year together here on site was genuinely special for us.
Moments like that are exactly why we do what we do.
Looking ahead to 2026
As we step into the new year, we’ve got some exciting (and very Coastal) things in the pipeline. 2026 is all about enhancing the experience here — thoughtfully, sustainably, and with plenty of little details that make a stay feel extra special.
🚲 Electric bike adventures (from March)
From March, we’re excited to be partnering with Volt Electric Bikes to introduce electric hybrid mountain bikes at Coastal Cabins.
Guests will be able to hire e-bikes and explore the quiet lanes, woodland trails and rugged North Devon coastline on two wheels — with a bit of extra help on those Devon hills.
We’re starting with a small pilot scheme, offering:
– Two electric hybrid mountain bikes
– Two child bike seats
– One double child trailer
Perfect for couples and families who want to explore together at their own pace, without the car keys.

☕ Mornings, made better
We’re also putting extra love into mornings at Coastal Cabins.
This year we’ll be offering beautiful breakfast hampers, filled with locally sourced meat and produce from nearby farms, alongside fresh barista-style coffee made with beans from local roasters.
Think slow starts, great coffee, and a breakfast that feels like part of the holiday — not a rush.
🌱 A greener Coastal Cabins
Behind the scenes, we’re continuing our journey to make Coastal Cabins even greener. We’re currently in the process of installing solar panels, helping us move towards a more sustainable, low-impact way of hosting.
It’s something that really matters to us, and we’re excited to take another step in the right direction this year.
That’s just the beginning, and we can’t wait to share more with you as 2026 unfolds.
